Rice Bubbles.
This morning, I had a DELICIOUS bowl of rice bubbles.
First they snapped. Then they crackled. Then they popped.
It was amazing.
But more importantly!
M*A*S*H*
Suicide is painless. It brings on many changes. And I can take or leave it as I please.
What a song!
We played a groovy cover of it on the show on Saturday night, which prompted a small amount of research into the hit television series M*A*S*H*
This research yielded results! Did you know that the hit television series M*A*S*H* had a number of spin-offs, including Trapper John M.D., AfterMASH, and W*A*L*T*E*R*.
TJMD was set 25 years after M*A*S*H* and was about that doctor guy Trapper who totally works in a hospital or something. The antics!
AfterMASH was about Colonel Potter, Klinger and that priest guy - Father Mulchalay - who are totally working in a Veteran's Hospital after coming home from Korea. Dudes, really, this is not a good place to work at if you want to escape the horrors of war.
W*A*L*T*E*R* was a show all about Radar (whose name was Walter - another fun fact!) in which loveable old Radar becomes... The World's Gentlest Cop.
Can you believe the pilot of this only screened once in 1984?
UPDATE: In a turnup for the books, I was able to successfully use this information again, just this morning, when one of my associates declared: So I was sitting with some friends on the weekend, and everyone was happy, and then the M*A*S*H* theme tune came on the TV and everyone just clicked over to maudlin.
Sir, would you like some Fascinating M*A*S*H* facts?
